Elon Musk Laughs in Face of Washington Post Critics After Stake in Twitter
Elon Musk is known for many things, like SpaceX and Tesla to name a few. Now, Musk is the largest public shareholder of Twitter after a bold move to buy stake in the company.
The left has had a whirlwind of emotions along with
the Washington Post claiming that someone with his money should not be in control of media platforms. The funny thing is, billionaire Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post.
Another Free Speech Attack on Musk
The Washington Post came out with an article titled, “Elon Musk’s vision of ‘free speech’ will be bad for Twitter.” A former Reddit CEO Ellen K. Pao was the one behind it, who even claimed Musk of being a bully on the Twitter platform.
She went on to say that Musk being appointed to the Twitter board will be bad for the company and that it was a step backwards in free speech. Without any regulations put in place, she also claims that “women and members of marginalized racial and ethnic groups” will continue to be harmed.
Recent Publication Means Nothing to Musk
Musk read the article bashing him, and joyfully replied with “Lmaoo”. The left is obviously in fear of someone that is generally against their ideas, so there will continue to be hatred towards him.
As for Musk, this is a stepping stone to making sure companies will put an end to unnecessary censorship. If he can influence the company to do the right thing, this would be huge.
